Walked into Niku Sushi not realizing they had an AYCE option...why not. We were already there. The space is really nice. A long "L" shaped sushi counter with a large dining area in back. See my pick for the decor. I'm not sure how to describe it. But it's pretty nice. They have the typical AYCE rules. 2 hour limit, finish your food or be charged extra, no sharing with non-AYCE diners and of course 3 rounds. Honestly, all the rolls, hand rolls and sashimi we ordered were fresh and delicious. Perfect fish to rice ratio. I was very impressed on how the rolls with fish inside were larger than normal cuts. Typically, places will skimp on those rolls because it's harder to see. Not Niku tho. They are generous with the portions. Other items we ordered included their wings, chicken Katsu, jalapeño bombs, miso soup, calamari, and baked mussels. There were no complaints from anyone in our group. Heads up on ordering tho. We didn't notice the serving quantities per item. We thought we were shorted. Quick fix, we just ordered more for round two haha. Overall, an awesome dining experience. Food is top notch and the service was good. Side note: our server saw our first round and warned us we have to finish everything or we will be charged extra. He doesn't know us very well lol. Our second round was doubled!

My husband and I tried Niku Sushi two weeks ago, the sushi had excellent flavors, great options for lunch. Service was good, we went during the weekday and it wasn't very busy inside, lots of seating available. Their dinner all you can eat has oysters so I definitely want to try that next time we dine in. All in all, everything was fresh and good! The rice to fish ratio could be a little better, but happy to see Niku locally here in Anaheim. parking was also very easy

We typically drive to Los Angeles county for AYCE Sushi, unless we go to Aburi in Buena Park. So when Niku Sushi opened up, we were excited to try the AYCE lunch menu especially since it's close to home in the downtown Anaheim area. The $32.95 price for lunch, isn't cheap, but when you see how many items there are to choose from, the higher price point might be understandable. We were one of the first patrons here for lunch on a weekday in December. They have a variety of appetizers to choose from, like Short Rib Ramen, Gyoza, Shrimp Boats, Takoyaki, Edamame, Crispy Calamari, Veggie Tempura and lots more. And the sushis, too many to name (check out their menu online). We ordered different things to try (see photos here) and were rather pleased. I felt like food quality matched some of the AYCE sushi places we frequent, but they do have appetizers that may be unique solely to them (?), like the Short Rib Ramen, which I haven't seen on any other AYCE sushi menu. Service was fine, and our server came to check on us often. Overall, we like Niku Sushi and probably need to come back again soon.
